Notice Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”)
APK Theory respects other people’s intellectual property rights and anticipates that its users will follow suit. In the event that a copyright infringement claim is made, the following processes will be carried out in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).
Notifying Copyright Violations:
If you think that someone else has stolen your work in a way that violates copyright, please send our Copyright Agent a notice that includes all of the following details:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- The identification of the allegedly infringed copyrighted work.
- The content that is allegedly infringing or the target of infringement must be identified; it must also be removed or have access to it blocked. We also need information that is at least somewhat accurate to help us find the content.
- Your address, phone number, and email address are among your contact details.
- A declaration from you stating that you sincerely believe the copyright owner, its agent, or the law do not permit use of the content in the way that has been complained about.
- A declaration attesting to the veracity of the information in the notification and attesting to your authority to act on the owner of the copyright under penalty of perjury.

Counter-Notification:
You can send a counter-notice to our Copyright Agent with the following details if you think the content that was removed (or to which access was disabled) is not infringing, or if you have permission to post and use the material in your content from the copyright owner or their agent, or in accordance with the law.
Your signature, digital or tangible.
The content that has been deleted or to which access has been restricted, along with the URL where the item was previously available, must be identified.
A statement indicating you have a good faith conviction that the content was removed or disabled as a consequence of mistake or a misidentification of the content.
Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in [Your Jurisdiction], and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.

Please be aware that anybody who intentionally makes a materially false representation that any content or activity is infringing may be held liable under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
Recurring Violists:
APK Theory has a policy of terminating the accounts of repeat infringers in compliance with the DMCA.
Alterations to the DMCA policy
APK Theory maintains the right, at its sole discretion, to change this DMCA Policy. This page will be updated with any changes.
